Target Travel turns 39!

On 11th August 2026, Target Travel celebrates 39 years in business.

A lot has changed in travel since 1987. Airlines have come and gone, destinations have opened up, technology has transformed the way we book, and travellers now have more choices than ever before.

But one thing hasn’t changed: travel is personal.

For 39 years, Target Travel has helped New Zealanders turn plans, ideas and dreams into real journeys - whether that means a family holiday, a long-awaited adventure, a business trip or simply getting somewhere important with as little stress as possible.

We’re proud to still be here, still independent, and still helping our clients navigate an increasingly complicated world of airfares, accommodation, tours, cruises and travel arrangements.

Most importantly, we’re grateful.
